On the 27th of August 2020, 296 new confirmed cases and 1 death recorded in Nigeria.
Till date, 53317 cases confirmed, 40726 cases discharged and 1011 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Plateau state has the highest number of recorded cases while Niger state has the lowest.
The 296 new cases are reported from 17 states. 85 new cases in Plateau, 46 in Enugu, 31 in Oyo, 21 in Lagos, 20 in Rivers, 15 in FCT, 13 in Kaduna.
12 in Bauchi, 11 each in Delta and Ekiti, 7 in Akwa Ibom, 6 in Ebonyi, 5 in Kwara, 4 cases each in Ogun and Osun, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Niger.
