Men of the Niger state police command arrested a 32-year-old man, Sani Garba, for raping a 60-year-old woman.
An announcement from the state police command, Wasiu Abiodun, says on July 18, law enforcement officials connected to the B division in Suleja, arrested Garba for criminally trespassing into the room of the 60-year-old woman after which raped her.
Wasiu stated Garba confessed to coming into the lady’s home and raping her. He stated the suspect can be charged to court as quickly as possible.
In a associated improvement, men of the state police command on July 16, arrested a 23-year-old man recognized as John Adamu of Ungwan Nassarawa area Kontangora, for raping a one 7-year-old girl of the same address.
The police spokesperson stated the suspect confessed to have penetrated the woman through the back at his security post premises.
He stated the suspect may even be arraigned in court soon.
