The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the opening of its portal for the institutions to upload names of applicants who have been shortlisted for the 2020/2021 admission.
Professor Is-haq Oloyede, made this announcement in Abuja on Tuesday, January 5, The Nation reports.
The JAMB registrar made known that all admission processes must go through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for approval.
“Take note also that admission is not just for universities. There are polytechnics and colleges of education and except for the closure because of COVID-19, they are not affected by the strike.”
In the meantime, JAMB made known that it had not begun the sale of forms for 2021 Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB also warned the approaching candidates to be cautious of the rumour mongers and fraudsters, adding that the clarification became necessary because of fake news.
