COVID-19: 146 New Cases Reported, 6 Deaths And 57 Discharged

NCDC has announced 145 new cases of coronavirus, overall infection now 4,787.
The number of fatalities increased from 150 to 158, while recoveries increased from 902 to 959.
Kogi and Cross River are yet to record any case.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 146 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the overall infection to 4,787.

In a tweet by the national disease control agency on Wednesday morning, May 13, Lagos led the chart with 57 cases whereas Kano state adopted on the log with 27 cases.

Kwara came behind with 10 cases whereas Edo state followed with 9. Bauchi has 8, Yobe 7, Kebbi and Oyo have 4 each, as Katsina and Niger have three cases equally.

Plateau, Borno, Sokoto and Benue states have 2 cases each, whereas Gombe, Enugu, Ebonyi, Ogun, FCT and Rivers have one case each.

959 individuals have been discharged to this point with 150 casualties on record, as Nigeria now positioned sixth within the list of first ten African countries badly hit by the pandemic.
