5 individuals feared dead in a ghastly motor accident at Upper-Iweka in Onitsha Anambra state.
Many others stated to have sustained various levels of injury in the incident which involved a Mack-trailer loaded of goods.
The Nation gathered that many people still trapped underneath the vehicle.
Sector Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Pascal Anigbo confirmed the incident.
He stated: “Fatal road traffic crash has just been reported at Upper Iweka, Onitsha.
“About 5 people already confirmed dead, others injured. Rescue operation is ongoing.
“The Acting Unit Commander Onitsha has contacted Julius Berger for their crane.”
