Senator Munir Muse who represented Lagos central senatorial district between 2007 and 2011, died at the age of 80.
In response to family sources, the senator died within the early hours of today Tuesday, June 2, two weeks after celebrating his 80th birthday.
The late lawmaker was elected to the Senate on the platform of the then Action Congress (AC).
Whereas at the upper legislative chamber, he chaired committees on National Planning, Police Affairs, Marine Transport, Interior, and Air Force.
He didn’t return to the Senate after failing to safe the ticket of the AC in 2011.
Nigerian singer-songwriter and guitarist, Majekodunmi Fasheke popularly generally known as Majek Fashek is dead.
He died in a hospital in New York within the late hours of Monday June 1.
