To make sure that nobody from Kano enters Kaduna state throughout the celebration as a way to forestall a COVID-19 surge in Kaduna State.
The governor made this assertion during a live chat with chosen radio stations within the state on Tuesday.
He mentioned; “I will ensure that I personally visit and patrol the Kaduna-Kano borders on Sallah day and I’ll stay there from morning until night time.
To see who will dare enter Kaduna State. I can’t leave there until late at night time.
“We have tried everything however the security agents haven’t been cooperating. We have heard of situations where commercial drivers and others pay them to return into Kaduna ”
