The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, has tested positive for Covid-19.
This was publicized in a tweet on Monday, August 24, by the special assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on media.
The health commissioner is doing well and has surfaced no symptoms so far.
He will begin 14 days self-isolation and home care right away… continues to execute his duty as Deputy Incident Commander.
