The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) declared 126 new cases of Covid-19 in the country, taking to the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 56,604.
The new cases which were announced by the disease control agency on Wednesday night, September 16, were recorded in 17 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Naijablaze records that the FCT primes the table with 37 cases while Lagos and Plateau follow with 27 and 16 cases respectively.
So far, Nigeria has recorded 56,604 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 47,872 recoveries and 1,091 deaths, according to the NCDC data.
