The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Friday, take the lead of top government officials and members of the diplomatic corps to honour the nation’s fallen heroes.
The traditional laying of wreath indicating the end of activities in the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day took place at the National Arcade, across from Eagles Square, Three Arms Zone, Abuja.
Public figures present at the event included Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammadu, among others.
