543 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths recorded in Nigeria on the 22nd of July 2020.

At the moment, 38,344 cases confirmed, 15815 cases discharged and 813 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 543 new cases reported from 15 states. 180 cases in Lagos, 86 in FCT, 56 in Kaduna, 47 in Edo, 37 in Ondo, 35 in Kwara, 19 in Ogun and Rivers.

17 in Kano, 16 cases both in Ebonyi and Enugu, 7 in Delta, 4 in Bayelsa, 3 in Bauchi, 1 in Abia.

NCDC mentioned that the multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), remains to direct the national response comings and goings. It was activated at Level 3.
